There's an article in my local paper about a couple who are doing a charity event to help the disaster victims in Japan.  They are sending paper cranes there, because there is a Japanese folk legend that says that if you fold a thousand cranes, you get a wish, and if you give those cranes to someone, that person gets a wish.  If you're interested in contributing, you can send your cranes here:

Satoshi Watanabe, c/o Wells Fargo
MAC D1053-163
301 S. College St.
Charlotte, NC 28288

If you need help with how to fold a crane (it's not nearly as hard as people think!), you can download instructions from www.operationmigration.org/Origami.pdf

Thanks to any of you who decide to contribute!
