My fandom has space bugs
This, as you will likely recognise if you've seen the classic Doctor Who serial Tomb of the Cybermen (Two, Jamie, Victoria), is one of the Cybermats (is that the plural of Cybermat? idk)--the little metal robot bugs that zoomed around mostly scaring people, but also apparently preparing them for (partial) conversion. I, like Jamie and Victoria, happen to think the little guys are kind of cute, and who can resist the claim of a fandom with space bugs, after all?

This is seriously one of the best fandom-related examples of this gesture I've seen capped, and this lovely icon of Don Eppes from NUMB3RS was made bybobbinrob. As most of us know, the ::facepalm:: is an absolutely essential icon, and this is my favourite so far.

This lovely icon was made bymoment_of_sen and expresses a common sentiment: craaap, something's gone horribly wrong. It's Sgt. Nicholas Angel (not Angle!) from Hot Fuzz, and I adored this movie so much I had to have icons from it.

I am heartily ashamed of myself, but I must confess, I did not make this and didn't note who did. ::hangs head in shame:: But! on to the good part: the esplainin'. This is a quote by Josh Lyman on The West Wing--he has just managed to get confirmation that the president's nominee for Supreme Court justice will be confirmed, which is a Big Deal. Later, he tells his assistant Donna to bring him the finest muffins and bagels in the land. Yes.

This cap just demands a fic caption, doesn't it? I think there are numerous versions of this wandering around the Torchwood fandom, a bit like Jack himself, no? Most of my icons right now are Torchwood-related, as it's my major fandom, and this is the one I use on the fic comments that go, 'Please? When are you updating, again?' I suspect some authors probably despise these, but maybe they shouldn't post WIP ;p
