Hmm, so for you, the questions be...
1) If you could live in any historical era, when and why?
2) Besides English, what is your favorite language (and don't say you don't have one, everyone's got one)? Can you speak this language? Why's it your favorite?
3) Who shot first, Han or Greedo?
4) What would you do if you were alone in a room with G. W. Bush, and there were no cameras, no witnesses, and no reprocussions to you for what you did?
5) When was the last time you watched West Wing? Which episode(s)?
1. Ooh, that's a toughie. For instance, by "you" does it mean that I remain a 22-yr-old white American female? Or am I allowed to specify who I want to be. 'Cause that influences the decision a lot. I suppose, taking the strictest possible interpretation of the question and remaining essentially unchanged, I would live in Britain in the 1960s, because there were so many interesting things coming together then--the Beatles, the Cold War viewed at a slight remove, Elizabeth II relatively new to the throne, etc. Plus, I really love Britain. And it was an important time in Ireland, as well.
2. It might be a toss-up between Spanish and Welsh. Spanish is so pretty, and I actually have some fluency in it. Welsh is just so darn cool, though. I'm working on the fluency thing there. I suppose I feel some sort of connection to my past in Welsh, and Spanish, well, it was the first foreign language I learned, so...
3. Old or new version?
4. Eek. Well, my first instinct is to run away, in case Mark Twain is right and stupidity is contagious. But then I must bravely consider the good of my fellow Americans, and assume that this is somewhere along the campaign trail last election, and bonk him over the head until he concedes to Kerry-Edwards and agrees to get us the hell out of Iraq. In writing. On camera. With a lie detector. And dropping that horrible fake Texas accent.
5. That time I came over after work and we all watched in your room. I think you told me we last watched 'Stirred.'
