May. 22nd, 2008 05:03 pmSo, after one of the longest calls in history to Dell tech support, in which I made conversation with a very nice guy named Mike for about 2 hours while waiting on my laptop to run diagnostics, I have a new optical drive on the way! It should be here in just a few days, and then I'll be able to watch DVDs and rip CDs again. Bliss.
