Fangirlin' It

Yesterday, after I got back from picking up dinner, I went to wipe off the lenses of my glasses, and they broke.  Not the easy-to-fix, screw-came-loose broke, the metal-part-holding-the-arm-snapped broke.  Fortunately I happen to have the last pair before these, so I can still see (my vision is so bad I might as well be blind).  I called today and found out that they're not still under warranty any more, which means I can't just get them fixed, I'll have to replace them.  Which means I have to pay for new frames, and it was hard enough finding one I liked last time; they're all so ugly now.  What's really ironic is that I was just in the optometrist's  office on Friday for an annual appointment.  grr.
